Young Leaders / Volunteers
6 July @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Young volunteers project for 14-19 year-olds, helping them make a positive difference in their local community. A typical young volunteer will support and help run our outreach programme, local sport sessions and tournaments, assist at large-scale national sports tournaments, learn how to coach sport and/ or design youth-led activities, organise and deliver fundraising events.
Young volunteers will receive high quality training, regular contact and support from a member of staff and a wide range of roles and opportunities to participate in the work of the club. We will also assist participants in developing their confidence, self-esteem, communication and community leadership and employ ability skills whilst providing them with the opportunities to gain recognised awards and qualifications With National Clubs for Young People.
We are able to offer our young people a wide range of training and opportunities to develop their skills and gain new qualifications. We would like to offer young people an exciting and interesting way to make a difference to their community. We want people to share our belief that young people are part of the solution to problems, rather than part of the problem and would like to give them the chance to show they can make a difference.
