We call on all ex-WBC members, families and friends to make a stand against this proposal. We are losing too many green spaces within the borough and beyond, meaning less open space for our children to play, grow up and be physically active within their local communities. Harriet Harman Visit

Wallsend Boys’ Club has over the years produced more than 70 top class footballers, including Peter Beardsley, Alan Shearer and Michael Carrick, since it was founded in 1904. We will Rebuild

We used that strap-line (We Will Rebuild) 5 years ago on our 2007 Dinner Programme after we (Wallsend Boys’ Club) had been granted the funding to develop our own pitches and changing rooms at Bigges Main. The Club thought that this line from Jimmy Nail’s song, ‘Big River’, was a statement of defiance to set against the continuing economic decline of Wallsend as a town after the loss of its Shipbuilding and Coal Mining industries in previous years. http://www.themag.co.uk/the-mag-articles/we-will-rebuild/

NCYP Clay Pigeon Shoot

Early Wednesday morning we were greeted by our four eager participants who had never tried this activity before and were both excited and keen to get their shooting experience underway. We travelled up in the Boyza Bus and met the rest of the young people from different Youth organisations at the Northumberland Arms in Felton, our meeting point for the day. Before we could set off to the field that would serve as our shooting ground; we were handed our ear plugs and the instructors briefed the group on health and safety and a few ground-rules regarding the handling and...

ASDA Bag Pack

This activity was organised as a fundraising event for our young people involved in our NCS project in conjunction with ASDA Wallsend. 12 of our young people spent 4 hours helping local shoppers to pack their shopping bags and welcome them into the store. The team raised a very presentable total of £134 not at all bad for a smaller branch.
