End of an era at Station Road… The Boyza 10 years on…
It is exactly 10 years since Wallsend Boys Club’s iconic Station Road headquarters was literally blown away in what has been described as “one of the most disastrous days in our history”.
Overnight on January 6, 2012 gale-force winds flattened a wall and led to the demolition of a building which had been the focal point for kids who otherwise would have been exposed to the dangers of drugs and violence on the streets and therefore the threat of jail.
The famous breeding ground for the best talent in North East football is looking to complete the next phase of their rebuilding programme
